Christmas Time

Well it has been a while since i have been on here. There have been a few great things that are going on. Well it is Christmas time i LOVE Christmas time. Not the hustle and the bustle and the gifts. Even how much i hint to JL of that new purse i want (no i need), it is so much more then that. It is about celebrating the birth of Christ and spending time with family and friends. I also love to go to the temple and look at all the beautiful lights. If you have not experience this before it is a Must!! Christmas time also means all the family gets to talk to Josh who is on his mission in D.C. It will be so nice to talk to him again. i miss him so much. we are all so proud of him.

Last week a few things came up that made me realize that i need to be more grateful for the things in my life. let me list a few of these
1. okay i was complaining to someone that my husband had to work thanksgiving and he will be working Christmas eve, Christmas, new years eve, and New years. Ouch and he is also on forced overtime into the 2009. now since we work totally different shifts. we never get time together. i really miss Friday night date night. the only day i get to pend with him is Sundays. well as were talking i realize there are people out there who don't even have jobs and i was complaining that my wonderful husband had to work extra. how selfish is that. I am so grateful my husband and i both have a job and we are able to have things that others may not. Lesson learned be grateful!!

2. My coworker Candace had her baptism this weekend. i am so impressed by her, she has 2 beautiful kids, works full time and is a great mom. i can barely work full time. i do not know how is does it. well her baptism was so amazing. there was little boy who gave a talk who was a little nervous but gave one of the most spiritual talks i have ever heard. he spoke of his baptism, how it has affected his life and what a great choice it was. It amazes me because i was born in the church never fully active until i met my husband, and there is this little boy who has this HUGE testimony that touched my heart. Lesson Learn Listen to the spirit you never know when it is going to touch you.

3. The Dr. i work for sister in law recently passed away. It was sad what happen. Now i do not know her at all. After her passing i was talking to my boss, he expressed how cheerful she was always. He told me to check out her blog. I was online on night and check out her blogs. i read the blog from start to finish. i cried and felt happy and sad. she was so upbeat even in her sickness. I was inspired by her story and how she dealt with struggles in her life. I wish if i was in the situation she was i would be upbeat and positive like her. lots of lessons learned

Well i sit here i feel so grateful for everything i have in my life and grateful i know things i what to improve on. with the new year i what to be a better me, a more grateful me and more spiritual me and more upbeat me. thanks for letting share these feelings with you.
