look at things i made today. i am so proud of myself!! i would not want someone inspecting my work but i think i turned out cute!! I have been looking for something to do at nights since JL works so much at night!! SO i am going to develop my talents and hobbies. i am going to do cooking and sewing classes!! when i am creating something i let go of not having a baby, being bigger than i would like, and other stress that i have. I have not always been like this though, i have been realizing how much i enjoy these kind of these. i still can not make jewelery like brookie yet but i am trying . Brookie i need lessons from the pro!! Well tell me what you think about my new kitchen curtains!!!

the big 24

Well i hate to celebrate birthdays for myself but if i must have one 24 is not too bad. My birthday was great expect for the fact JL had to work. I woke up to a voice from my mom and grandma wishing a happy birthday. My mom made sure to call 1st. What a great mom!! when i lived at home josh would wake the birthday person up at midnight with the happy birthday song. I missed it this year. I went to work and the girls there made it really special! thank you girls!! they bought flowers and cupcakes and of coarse PEPSI. JL took me out to lunch and give me these:

After work i went to my mom's house to go out to dinner. which was so good. Here are a few of the fun things i received for my BDay:

i love my pressure cooker!!!

I have had this pressure for over 4 years and never used it!! My mom, daisy and I took a cooking class at Shar's (by the way is so neat) that teach my how to use it. It is amazing that if you know how to use something you enjoy it more. I have used it at least 7 times in two weeks. It cooks chicken in 3 minutes. Yes i said 3 minutes. I still let JL think it took me forever to make dinner when it only takes 3 minutes. Point of the story, if you do not have one get one and go to shars cooking class i learned a lot!!!

Stephanie a 15th Birthday and Prom WOW!!!

My little sister only just turned 15 Friday and got go to PROM on Saturday. she went as friends with a very nice boy. I am so proud and happy for her. i came over did her hair and got her ready to go. I wish i was able to spend more time with her she is great. Well Happy birthday stephi-roo!!! I wish that i was more like her when i was her age. She is outgoing, cute, sassy and has great style. I could not ask for anyone better. So since i am such a proud sister i had to put up a ton of pictures.

wisdom teeth ouch!

well i got my wisdom teeth out on Friday!! let me tell you that is hard. i look like the picture above not joking!! i would not let jl take any pictures of me.i went and got a massage before the appointment to relax me which did not work i was still freaking out. so i had all 4 teeth taken out. ouch ouch ouch. i had to have someone monitor me for the 1st 24 hours. Jl had to work so he drop me off at my mom's home. She was so wonderful, she turned my little brothers room into a recovery suite for me. she put new sheets a adorable pink and green comforter. it was super cute. she made me jello which is all i can really eat and tons of water. My whole family took really good care of me. Thank you MOM, JL, DAD, DEAN-O, Matthew and Daisy. and thank you Grandma Roxie and Honeybunch(my grandpa) for calling and wishing me better. I love you all tons and want you to know i really appreciate it. thank you!!!

P.S. thank you again MOM!! i realize my mom will always be there to care for me even if i am almost 24 and should be able to taken care of myself.

i have half of my sectional finish!!!

WOW finally half of my sectional is finish!!! i was so excited when our wonderful neighbor brought it over for us. he does amazing work. He gave us a great deal on fixing our couch. the story on on our couch. well when we moved in our small ikea couch was not going to look right, so my mother gave us her over sized sectional. thank you Mom. P.S. i do have the best mom ever. It was a jean couch which was not for us. But then we make friends with mark our neighbor who does this for a living. so we decided to make the couch and chocolate rhino microfiber. the fabric has a little texture to it.

This will be the fabric on the curtain in the kitchen and i am thinking i want it as the throw pillows too. what do you think?

Matt's big day

Well i am really late on this. but i am so proud of my brother Matthew! he just turned 8 and had his baptism. Wow he has grow so much it is hard to believe that such a big boy is only 8. i love him so much and feel so honored to be his big sister. Well JL got to baptize Matthew because Josh is still in D.C on the mission. It was Jl 1st Baptism in English and only baptism in the USA. He did Great and i was a proud wife. here are some pictures of the big event.

finally finish!!!

Hooray i am finally finish painting my cabinets!! it only took almost 1 month. I took my solid oak cabinets and put bead board in them and painted them dark. Bitter chocolate dark . i love them so much more pictures to come these are for my mom to really see. LOVE you mom!!!

update

okay i know time for a update. i have been so busy with life. i work then come home a wait for Jl to get home which by the way is almost 12am. i really hate his new shift 2 to 11:30pm. well on a more upbeat note. we have sold all the Boston puppies!! YaY my home no longer smells like puppies. We got new carpet in the bedrooms and are doing little things to make our house our home.

I helped my sister and mom this last weekend with the Cinderella pageant. it was very long but a lot of fun. my sisters are so beautiful and have great personalities. my little cousin Ellie was in the pageant too. they did great. They did not place 1st but did get other prizes. i was so proud of them and excited to see them preform like that. here are a few pictures of the event:

look at how sad tucker looks. he hurt his paw really bad and needs to keep this bandage on his paw for a few weeks until it heals. here is how he hurt it though. He jumps up on the couch, then from the couch he can jump on the counter top which he will do if there is food on the counter (JL has a bad habit). he ate the food and knock the glass dish over and jumped down on the glass and cut his paw. poor puppy huh!!

Ohh Puppies Ohh Puppies

WOW these puppies are a LOT of work. They will be 4 weeks on Wednesday. they are climbing and crawling everywhere. Boston terrier puppies are the cutest things though. these puppies love to cuddle. it is really nice to lay on the couch and have the puppies cuddling with you. we watched Igor tonight and had thee pups cuddling us. I love their little paws and little wet noses, i don't love their whining and messes. well here are updated pictures of the puppies!!!

Happy 24th Levi!!

Happy 24th birthday Levi. Jl 's brother turns 24 today!! He was in town so his family and i went to dinner to celebrate his b-day!! it was really good food. Jl could not make it because he still has to work. well i have not known Levi for very long but he is a very brave and great guy. he is in the Army and lives in Yuma right now!! Well Happy Birthday Levi!!

My mom has been begging for me to put it up so here you go mom!! love you tons . the thing i love about this picture is that my 2 brother who have bright shirts on do not match any of us but that is just them. they look like they were brought back from the 80's sometimes with all the bright shirts and shoes they have.

New Years Eve Surpise!!!

On new Years eve JL and I had quite a nice surprise. Well let me give you a little background of the story first. We thought Our dog Cindy Lou was pregnant so we took her to the vet to get her checked out and a x-ray done. With Boston terriers it is common they may need to get a c-section when delivering. Well Our wonderful vet is out of town for a while so we went and saw his replacement. They did x-rays and said she was not pregnant even though she had all the symptoms. She told us it was a fake pregnancy that it was all in Cindy's head, but to be sure we took her back 1 week post for a follow up. The same Dr. said she may have been pregnant but lost the puppies or it was all in her head. Well i always knew she was pregnant (a mother always knows j/k). she started to nest and was getting bigger so i made another appointment for this coming up Saturday to follow up again on Monday!!! Needless to say we will now need that appointment, because on Wednesday morning we were doing the regular morning routine let the dogs out. i left them out for a little while longer than i normally would. when i came to let them in Cindy did not come right away which was we rid. when she came in she was bleeding. i yelled for JL to help. then went outside i found 1 little puppy on the ground crying and moving. Hooray we had a Puppy. i was freaking out. I wont go on about everything else but Cindy is now Okay and has 3 alive and happy puppies. It was not in her head!!! here are some pictures of the little addition.
